Heavenly Acres Myra

Sire:  GCH Mount Sinai’s Crusader St Amand

Dam:  Heavenly Acres Creasole

Whelped:   October 13, 2010

Call Name:  Myra

Myra came to us at 11 months of age. Kirby needed a companion.  He was still a puppy and he had suddenly lost both his playmates within a month of each other.  He was depressed and confused.  He started to become destructive.  We asked Paul Sunseri if he knew of any females in the states…

Paul came through for us again! That search led us to the sweet natured Myra.  She was young but had a wise older soul.  She melted our hearts instantly. She took Kirby by the paw and helped him through his troubled time.  She mended his heart and helped him back to a fun life again.  We can never thank her enough for what she has done for us!  She is very athletic and always seems to out maneuver Kirby every time they play.  She will melt your heart with her soft loving bedroom eyes.

She is the daughter of the great champion Mount Sinai’s Crusader St Amand. She has the sweetest nurturing personality.  She never causes any trouble nor asks for anything, so, of course she gets everything she wants!  She is our nanny; she helps to train all of our young dogs.  She is the calmer of the pack and the matriarch, rightfully so.

Update:  We lost this amazing sweet love of a girl this year (2020).  She had arthritis in her front shoulder, but she would never let on about it.  She was always there to alert us that there was something going on outside.  I was always amazed at how she could move.  When she first came to live with us, she jumped from a casual stand on the lower level of the patio up over a 4 foot wall to the upper level grassy area!  Even at 9 years 7 months, she still would go from a sound sleep to bolting out the dog door in a flash!  She took her role as Alert Dog so seriously.  When she didn’t want to get up anymore, I knew it was time.

To everyone who has one of our puppies, she was a major factor in showing them how to be a good loving Bordeaux.  She was our nanny dog.  I will miss Myra’s bedroom eyes and her soft slow wet kisses.
